Smoking shelter concepts
Smoking shelters have become a necessity after legislation required that all enclosed public places and workplaces be smoke free. Creactive Design ID designed a range of stylish concepts for Woodhouse to compliment the architecture of London’s business and financial districts, utilising glass and stainless steel in their construction.
The shelters included playful elements; the structural pillars mimicked the appearance of cigarettes, some with wavy ‘smoke’ wafting from the end and ash trays set into the paving like stubbed out cigarettes.
